3rd round:

Brandon Williams, CB, Texas A&M

Why he fits in Arizona: The Cardinals are looking for a corner that can eventually start long time alongside Patrick Peterson.  Williams could eventually be that guy but this pick means the Cardinals likely go with Justin Bethel alongside Paterson in 2016.

Why he might not fit in Arizona: Some consider Williams a project.  He spent the first three seasons at Texas A&M as a receiver.  Still with just one season at corner, the Cardinals must have liked something they saw.  It might take him a couple of years though before getting some quality playing time, something Bethel knows all too well about.

Grade: B. He’s not at the size the Cardinals are particularly excited about at 5’11 but he has good speed and should be good on special teams for now.
