The Arizona Cardinals gained six players from their 2016 draft class plus a number of undrafted free agents

The Arizona Cardinals have assembled some new talent.  Over the course of three days, they drafted six players.  Then they went out and quickly signed a number of undrafted free agents.  Many of them expressed their excitement for coming to Arizona.

Sure some of these guys likely won’t make the team in the end but they are grateful for the opportunity nonetheless.  It looks like we have some players ready to get down to business.

I have not seen a single negative thing said about any of the draft picks or free agents coming to Arizona.  Not only are the players excited, it seems also as if one college coach is excited for the opportunity his former players are getting.

It would be outstanding to see both players end up with some sort of regular season opportunity with the Cardinals whether it is on the 53-man roster or on the practice squad.  There is a lot of work to do between now and then though.  Rookie minicamp begins this Friday May 6th at team headquarters in Tempe.
