The Arizona Cardinals have some new additions to their roster after free agency and the NFL Draft

The Arizona Cardinals roster is probably about 80 to 90 percent set.  However it is that 10 to 20 percent that we still don’t know about.

This is partly why the Cardinals and the rest of the NFL have OTA’s and then mini-camp, followed by training camp.  You want to find the best 53 players you can for your roster.

As far the as the Cardinals go, they have built their current roster that will go into the OTA’s and mini-camp.  Certainly expect a few changes but here are five guys to be watching for over the next month and then in training camp.

1. Marqui Christian

The small school guy has come to the Arizona Cardinals again.  From Midwestern State, not many had heard of Christian until being drafted.

You can bet though general manager Steve Keim heard of him a long time ago.  He has an eye for small school talent.  You might know a guy that is on the current roster that fits that bill.  He goes by the name John Brown.

It was actually former Cardinals safety and current scout Adrian Wilson who saw him play and told the Cardinals he really liked him.  He has speed and likes to hit.

If that doesn’t sound familiar, then it should.  Guys like Tyrann Mathieu and Deone Bucannon are the same way.  Both have speed and great hitting ability.

You will be hearing his name called a lot over the next several months and into the 2016 season. He likely doesn’t start this year but he should get his share of backup time.
