Arizona Cardinals single-game tickets on sale Saturday
By Scott Allen
The Arizona Cardinals open the 2016 at home against the New England Patriots on September 11th
On Saturday morning those not lucky enough or rich enough to be able to afford Arizona Cardinals season tickets will be able to purchase single-game tickets. Ticketmaster will put tickets on sale starting at 10 a.m.
If you live outside of Arizona, don’t even bother trying for tickets until 12 noon. By then, the tickets could be all gone. For the first two hours tickets will be available only to those with Arizona zip codes.
I am a big proponent of that policy. It gives Cardinals fans the best chance to fill the seats. Certainly it doesn’t guarantee it as there are a lot of other team’s fans that live here but it most definitely helps.
In addition to the home opener against the Patriots, the Cardinals will also play home games against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Los Angeles Rams, New York Jets, Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers, Washington Redskins, and New Orleans Saints.

If tickets are still available on Monday, you may additionally purchase tickets at team headquarters in Tempe or at University of Phoenix Stadium. For this weekend though, there will be a limit of four tickets per transaction.
The Cardinals are a huge draw as you should be well aware of by now. They have sold out all 104 games they have played at UOP Statdium since it opened 10 years ago in 2006.
You will be able to purchase tickets through any Ticketmaster outlet. This includes online at ticketmaster.com, over the phone at 800-745-3000 or at ticket centers.
Good luck to everyone that tries to purchase tickets. Quantities are limited. We are less than a week now before first training camp practice in Glendale. The excitement is in the air!
