The Arizona Cardinals gave the Arizona Wildcats use of their team facility in Tempe

I’m sure many Arizona State Sun Devils fans have to be cringing by now after hearing that the Arizona Cardinals gave their facility to the Arizona Wildcats to use on Wednesday.  It was such a great gesture though, one even most Sun Devils fans would admit.

The Wildcats were invited by the Cardinals to come use their facility in Tempe.  The practice field was painted in red and white for the Cats.  The Cardinals welcomed them with a huge banner in the locker room “Football is family”.

With wild weather in Tucson, the Cardinals offered up their facility for practice Wednesday and Thursday.  The Cats are also dealing with the death of their center Zach Hemmila a couple of days ago.

The Cardinals did such a great thing here.  They saw an opportunity to help with the team out in Glendale practicing at University of Phoenix Stadium.  Once again Michael Bidwill and the Cardinals organization show true class.

The weather problems in Tucson and dealing with a death can wreak havoc on a team preparing for its football season.  With such a heartbreaking week for the Wildcats, they needed a little sunshine.  The Cardinals stepped up and did the right thing here.  Yet another great day to be proud to be an Arizona Cardinals fan.
