Mike Jenkins, CB

For Jenkins, he’s had an unfortunate preseason.  After signing a contract with the Cardinals, he went out and broke his hand early in camp.  For a guy that was expected to come in and compete for a starting spot, that doesn’t bode well.

While I would not be surprised to see Jenkins on the cut list, he could be around until the last minute.  He will need to show something on Sunday.  He has left himself little time to catch-up.

While Justin Bethel has left himself in a similar situation, Bethel has been around much longer in Arizona.  Jenkins likely becomes a victim of a numbers game now.  Maybe a good game on Sunday though gives the Cardinals coaches pause and makes a tough cut elsewhere.  I don’t think it’s looking good for him though.
