The good

David Johnson was a beast.  Again.  He had 22 carries for 111 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.  He also added three receptions for 27 yards for good measure.

Johnson had a 58-yard touchdown run on the first play of the second offensive series of the game. He put on a show in another workhorse-like effort.

The defense also put on a show.  They came up with two interceptions, one a huge one in the end zone after a long Jets series by safety D.J. Swearinger.  Also, safety Tyrann Mathieu got his first pick of the season as well.

They held Jets running back Matt Forte to just 19 yards on nine carries.  They also held the Jets to just 2-13 on third-down conversions.  The put plenty of pressure on Jets starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick.  They had just one official sack but they also forced them into five three-and-outs on the night.

The offensive line.  Guards John Wetzel and Earl Watford had themselves a game.  After the game Palmer mentioned in his post game interview that his line was “unbelievable”.  They helped open holes that lead to the three Johnson touchdowns and kept Palmer from being sacked.
