2016 NFL Power Rankings Week 9: Arizona Cardinals
By Scott Allen
24. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-5)
After losing 43-28 on Thursday Night Football to the Atlanta Falcons, the Buccaneers might be looking to next year once again. Although they are still in the hunt for a wild-card spot, they are now three back in the NFC South with eight to play.
Quarterback Jameis Winston threw for 267 yards and three touchdowns against the Falcons but the Bucs defense has a hard time stopping anyone. The Bucs have given up 30 or more points in five of their eight games.
Tampa has a chance to get back on the winning side of things next week when they host the Bears. However the Bears appear to be on the mend and improving, so nothing against them is a given at this point.
With all the Bucs injuries however, it will be difficult to beat anyone, especially if Winston is injured. Mike Glennon replaced Winston in the fourth quarter against the Falcons.
