6. Oakland Raiders (6-2)

Who puts up an NFL-record 23 penalties against them and still wins in today’s NFL?  That would be the now 6-2 Raiders.  They are tied for first place in the AFC West with the Denver Broncos.

The Broncos are their opponent for Sunday Night Football in week nine.  Winner will take over sole possession of first place in the division.  They won’t get another crack at each other again until New Year’s Day in week 17.

If they commit all those penalties against the Broncos this week like they did against the Buccaneers though, the outcome will be much different.  The Broncos will make them pay for any big penalties.

That being said, the Raiders, even if you hate them, you have to respect the job head coach Jack Del Rio is doing with this group.  The Raiders so far have lived up to their preseason hype.  Might be the best game on the schedule in week nine.
