2016 NFL Power Rankings Week 9: Arizona Cardinals
By Scott Allen
5. Minnesota Vikings (5-2)
Now the real Sam Bradford has showed up. The problem there is the Vikings defense has disappeared too. After starting 5-0, they’ve now dropped two straight to the Eagles and then the Bears this past Monday night.
Realizing head coach Mike Zimmer is defensive minded, he needs to do something to spark something in the lethargic Vikings offense. Going in though we all knew without Teddy Bridgewater and Adrian Peterson, it was going to be a tough season offensively for the Vikings.
The Vikings still lead the NFC North however at 5-2. The lead is just one game over the Packers though. There isn’t a lot of margin for error right now.
This week the Vikings have another division matchup with the Lions at home. After that, the head on the road to face the Redskins before coming back home to take on the Cardinals. Not the easiest stretch of games.
