Offensive line

Granted, the Cardinals did have some new faces on the line this season after three departures. They also lost Jared Veldheer to a season-ending injury on October 30th.

However, what the Cardinals had otherwise on the offensive line this season has been anything but good or at least consistently good.

John Wetzel had his moments but after the Minnesota Vikings game last week it was clear that experiment was not working.  So they switched D.J. Humphries over to left tackle on Sunday.  That did not work out.

Earl Watford has not played well.  Center A.Q. Shipley could be considered the most consistent performer but even he has been manhandled at times.  A bad snap by him on Sunday took the Cardinals out of position to score a touchdown.

Evan Boehm has not blossomed yet.  Some had him pegged as the starter in training camp but so far that has not panned out.  Is he the future at center for the Cardinals?  That is very questionable.

Then there is guard Mike Iupati.  He has been very inconsistent as well.  He has also been hobbled by injury at times.
