Fans of the Arizona Cardinals can celebrate their love of the Cardinals on Valentine’s Day

The 14th of February is a day for love, generally celebrated by couples. However, Valentine’s Day can mean something different, in this case the love and admiration fans have for the players, and team, they follow. Arizona Cardinals fans certainly have a strong love for the players in the organization.

Though the Cardinals, historically, haven’t been the strongest of franchises, they are a storied franchise. They are one of the oldest franchises in the NFL, having been one of the league’s charter franchises. They have been in operation since 1898, leaving plenty of time for fans to get to know them.

The Cardinals have had several homes over the years. They played in Chicago until the 1960 season, when they moved to St Louis. In 1988 they moved to Phoenix, establishing a home in the desert. Finally, in 1994, they changed the name to the Arizona Cardinals.

No matter where they’ve played, the Cardinals have had a loyal fanbase who loved to come out and watch them play. Here, on Valentine’s Day in 2017, are five special Valentines from RaisingZona.
