Frostee Rucker

2016 team: Arizona Cardinals

A couple of weeks ago I listed Rucker as another must sign from the Cardinals own free agents. Rucker played in 13 games, starting just one in 2016.

Although he saw a decline in his numbers last year, with just 13 tackles, one pass defensed and one forced fumble, he is still a veteran player the Cardinals can bring back into the fold at a lower price.  The question is are the Cardinals interested?

Rucker had eight sacks between the 2014 and 2015 seasons.  He did not register a single sack last season.  He did have to work his way through a couple of injuries.

Those injuries cost him time away from the field in preseason and the regular season.  He could still has the ability to produce though.  Maybe not at the level he once did but could still be a great depth guy on the defensive line.
