Day one of the 2017 NFL Combine had some players that the Arizona Cardinals could target

Today marked the beginning of the on-field portion of the 2017 NFL Combine. Offensive linemen and running backs ran, jumped, and performed in the so-called “underwear Olympics” in front of representatives of all 32 NFL teams. Their goal? To either solidify their draft stock, or to try and gain the attention of league decision makers, including those from the Arizona Cardinals.

The Cardinals aren’t likely to be picking a running back or an offensive lineman early on in the NFL Draft, but they might be interested in adding some depth to those spots in the later rounds. They could use some talented backup to David Johnson with all of their depth entering free agency, and there are questions at guard and center up front.

Day one of the combine is in the books. As always, some guys had great workouts, some did not. The Cardinals can use some of the guys that had good ones, and were likely paying very close attention to today’s goings on. Here are five players from today’s events that performed well, and could be on Arizona’s radar.
