The Arizona Cardinals got a chance to look at the defensive ends and linebackers today at the NFL Combine

The Arizona Cardinals, along with the other 31 teams, spent today at the NFL Combine looking at future members of their front sevens. The best defensive linemen and linebackers hit the field for their chance to shine in physical measurements as well as on-field drills.

With free agency set to take a toll on the Arizona defense, it was an important day. Calais Campbell seems likely to be elsewhere in 2017, and linebacker Kevin Minter may follow him. Frostee Rucker is a pending free agent as well. If all three are gone, they’ll need to fill those gaps with some of the guys on the field today.

The Cardinals have quite a few needs, on both sides of the ball, depending on what happens with free agency. So, they may not want to use that 13th overall pick on the front seven, but this draft class has talent throughout the draft, especially up front.

The workouts are finished up for the day, and the numbers show some winners and some losers. Here are five players that the Cardinals might be targeting that had a really good day.
