Fabian Moreau combines size and speed, and could be a special player

With so many needs, the Cardinals could elect to go after a cornerback after round one. With such a deep and talented class, that’s certainly a viable strategy. Day two will still see some top talents on the board.

Fabian Moreau has remained under the radar, for the most part, because of the big names ahead of him. However, Moreau has gotten analysts’ attention. He’s another cornerback with a big frame, who plays well in press coverage, and he moves well, despite his size.

Today, Moreau put on a show, recording a lightning-quick 4.35 second 40-time, then a 38 inch vertical jump and an 11’4″ broad jump. He was smooth in the drills as well, and might have played himself into a first round pick. If he lasts into the second round, the Cardinals might take him.
