“I see, so far, five to six really good arms, guys with good stature.”
The Draft season is beginning, and the Arizona Cardinals are looking to build for the future, as well as building to win now. With eight draft picks this season (seven original and one fifth-round compensatory pick), General Manager Steve Keim and Coach Bruce Arians will be attempting to take full advantage of the talent in this year’s draft class.
This year seems like the year where the Cardinals choose the quarterback of the future, and it may not be in the first round. “I see, so far, five to six really good arms, guys with good stature,” Coach Arians said at the annual NFL Combine.
Quarterback, though, is only one position that needs to be addressed. This year the Cardinals will hope to address all of the team’s needs while also selecting the best player on the board. This mock draft contains eight possible selections for the Arizona Cardinals based upon talent and need. NOTE: Trades were not taken into consideration while making this draft.
