Mitchell Trubisky doesn’t have a lot of experience, but has made a name for himself

Heading into the 2016 season, Mitchell Trubisky wasn’t exactly a household name. Formerly a prized recruit, he sat on the bench until he finally got his chance last year. Once he got on the field, he made the most of his chance.

Last season, Trubisky completed 68% of his passes for 3,748 yards and 30 touchdowns. He added over 300 yards and 5 touchdowns rushing. He led North Carolina to an 8-5 record, which included wins over Florida State and Miami.

Trubisky is considered the best quarterback prospect in the draft by many. He has a nice delivery that gets the ball out quickly and accurately, even when he’s out of the pocket. His ability to move around is also a plus. The biggest concern is his lack of experience, especially under center.

Likelihood of Drafting: 4/10.

There’s a very good chance that Trubisky is gone by the time the Cardinals pick in round one. They may not favor taking him, even if he was. At 6’2, he’s not as tall as Arizona likes, and his relative lack of starting experience could scare them as well.
