The Arizona Cardinals have made a few but effective free agent moves this off-season
The Cardinals were a team that was full of free agents looking for new homes, or hopefully signing to stay home. Free agency hit in March and it took a toll on Arizona, mainly its defense. They lost 5 starters on defense in Calais Campbell, Tony Jefferson, Kevin Minter, Marcus Cooper, and DJ Swearinger. Not to mention the loss of role playing pass rusher, Alex Okafor.

The Defense wasn’t the only side of the ball to take a hit, offense lost “Do it all” lineman Earl Watford. Also an emerging tight-end and former basketball player Darren Fells, and then the Cardinals said goodbye to kicker Chandler Catanzaro.
Fortunately the Cardinals made some moves and filled some of those open spots quickly, and with talent. Obviously the holes of Calais Campbell and Tony Jefferson will be the hardest to replace, and then that new player has some big shoes to fill. The Cardinals have already found the replacement for Jefferson after his departure to the Ravens, and they have also found a replacement for Kevin Minter, and Chandler Catanzaro.

I know that people know the names, and what team they last played for, but there’s a lot more to that. Lets take a look at who they are, and how they can help the Cardinals in 2017.
