The similarities between the black ranger and Larry Fitzgerald are less obvious and less in number. For starters, Fitz and Zack both have a good sense of humor. Though they do not talk as much as some of the other team members, you can always expect some comic relief to come from their directions.

Just like Fitz dives and fully extends for a one-handed catch, or like his willingness to put his body at risk to go over the middle for a catch, Zack Taylor is fearless as well. When the rangers first discovered their powers, Zack was the first to put it to the test and risk himself to put his abilities to the test. That vertical is a similarity too, even if Fitz does not need super powers for it.

The biggest resemblance between the two are their family situations. Larry Fitzgerald lost his mother when he was not much older than the black ranger is during the movie. Although Zack’s mother has not yet passed and there is still hope for her, it is something that the Cardinals’ star wide receiver has struggled through. The pain their mothers have endured has pushed both heroes to achieve all they have.
