December

December 3 – Los Angeles Rams

For some reason the Cardinals struggle against the Rams in Glendale.  This is likely going to be another close game.  This is always one of the toughest games of the year to predict.  Its one of those games where sometimes the record doesn’t matter.

Los Angeles 14 Arizona 13

December 10 – Tennessee Titans

Expect offense from both teams.  The Titans have Marcus Mariota at quarterback.  He can score fast and often.  The last time these two teams got together was in Nashville in 2013.  The Cardinals came away with a 37-34 victory in overtime.

Arizona 41 Tennessee 38

December 17 – @ Washington Redskins

Kirk Cousins is back and this time he gets the Cardinals on his turf.  He’s come to Arizona two of the last three seasons and lost to a Cardinals offense that played better.  This is the real only true cold weather game the Cardinals must endure in 2017, so I’d expect that to be a factor.

Washington 31 Arizona 27

December 24 – New York Giants

The Giants come in on Christmas Eve.  They know the building well.  They won a Super Bowl in Glendale with Eli Manning at quarterback.  They haven’t visited Arizona during the Arians-era though, so there is that.

Arizona 23 New York 20

December 31 – @ Seattle Seahawks

This game will definitely depend on what each team has to play for.  The prevailing thought here would be this was for the NFC West Championship.  Maybe but as history has told us, as much as these two have battled over the last several years, week 17 is likely to mean very little to at least one team.

Arizona 33 Seattle 32

This gives the Cardinals an 11-5 record for the season.  One would hope that’s enough to win the division and get into the playoffs.  Just to be sure, they might want to win one of those east coast games against Philly or Washington.
