The RaisingZona staff takes a look at the 2017 NFL Draft and who the Arizona Cardinals might select

The homestretch is here. There is less than a week until the 2017 NFL Draft starts up, and fans are chomping at the bit to see who will be the futures of their favorite teams.

The Arizona Cardinals are no different. With Carson Palmer and Larry Fitzgerald on the way out, and some heavy losses in free agency, this year’s draft is big. If Steve Keim and the rest of the staff can’t hit on some picks this year, it could signal a downswing for a franchise that has been pretty good for the past few years.

Mock drafts are everywhere at this time of year. Analysts, bloggers, and fans are all in the process of trying to predict who will be selected where. In the end, nobody really knows, and there are always surprises when the picks start coming in.

The staff here at RaisingZona are in full draft mode as well. As not only fans of the Cardinals, but also as people who cover the team, we’re keeping close watch. We each have our own view of how things could or should go down. Here’s a look at some of our predictions.
