Jared Veldheer

When Veldheer went down with an injury last October 30th against the Carolina Panthers, he was lost for the 2016 season.  It may also have been the last time we saw Veldheer at left tackle, protecting Carson Palmer’s blind side.

After Veldheer was lost, there was some shifting around on the offensive line.  Eventually D.J. Humphries ended up at left tackle.  Now the Cardinals may end up putting Humphries there full time.

If that happens, then Veldheer is likely to move over to right tackle.  Could that ultimately spell the end of Veldheer’s time in Arizona.

It will be interesting to see how he handles the change.  Humphries performs better on the left side and seems a more natural fit for him.

Veldheer is entering his eighth NFL season as well.  Could his time in Arizona be coming to an end? Certainly his 2017 performance will have a lot to say about that.
