Five Arizona Cardinals Players to Watch at Hall of Fame Game

Scooby Wright is trying to overcome long odds to make the Cardinals this season
The Cardinals have had to make a number of changes at the inside linebacker spot this offseason. Kevin Minter is gone, and Deone Bucannon is injured. Meanwhile, veteran Karlos Dansby was signed in free agency, and they used their first round pick on Haason Reddick.
In December of last year, the Cardinals made another move at linebacker, though it wasn’t as celebrated. Scooby Wright, formerly a seventh round pick of the Cleveland Browns, was signed, and added to the team.
Wright was a decorated college player, but had much to overcome to be a viable professional. Against NFL competition, scouts questioned his athleticism in particular, and he nearly went undrafted.
Wright has impressed so far in camp, and is stating his case for making the team. He has always been willing to work hard, and has overcome the odds before. He gets a chance to further his case on Thursday.
