The Arizona Cardinals will have some players to watch when they face the Oakland Raiders

The NFL preseason is now fully underway, and the Arizona Cardinals will face the Oakland Raiders in their second game on Saturday. The starters are expected to play this time out, something that didn’t happen in their first outing.

The Raiders figure to be one of the best teams in the league this coming season. Last year, they came into their own, winning 12 games and making the playoffs for the first time since 2002. An injury to quarterback Derek Carr ruined their Super Bowl hopes, though, and they lost in round one of the playoffs.

The Cardinals will face a true Super Bowl contender, albeit in a game that doesn’t mean much. The starters are expected to play just around 15 plays this week for the Cardinals. For the Raiders, it’s their first action in 2017.

Despite the fact that it’s still an early preseason game, there are reasons to keep a close eye out. Here are five players who coaches will be watching, and fans should take notice of as well. This game will take place in University of Phoenix Stadium.
