The Arizona Cardinals host the Chicago Bears on Saturday in what will be the third preseason game already for the Cardinals. They are 1-1 after losing to the Dallas Cowboys 20-18 and beating the Oakland Raiders 20-10.
The Bears lost their preseason opener last week to the Denver Broncos 24-17. Rookie quarterback Mitch Trubisky looked better than Mike Glennon. Glennon struggled, throwing an interception returned for touchdown on just his second pass of the first drive.
The Cardinals starters got their first look of action last week and should expect to stay on the field a little longer on Saturday night. Same for the Bears.

Game Plan:
The Cardinals should get a better look at the conditioning of their starters on Saturday night. Don’t be surprised to see guys like Carson Palmer, David Johnson, and Larry Fitzgerald play most if not all of the first quarter.
You still won’t see them do too much to put themselves into the way of danger. The Cardinals should also get their first look at D.J. Humphries in a game situation. He missed the first two games.
On defense the Cardinals cornerbacks will continue to be a focus area as the team continues it search for a starter opposite Patrick Peterson. The secondary could have a field day against the Bears quarterbacks if they are on their ‘A’ game.
Also expect to see more of Drew Stanton and Blaine Gabbert in their quest to be the backup to Palmer. Stanton played well last week against the Raiders after a nice performance by Gabbert against the Cowboys.
Get a good look at the Cardinals this weekend because you won’t see them in game action at home again until Monday September 25th on Monday Night Football. That’s over five weeks away still.
