Jarvis Jones

What happens when a veteran player can’t get onto the playing field much less the practice field during the preseason?  He won’t be around long.

Fair or not, linebacker Jarvis Jones could find himself looking for a new employer come next weekend.  Unfortunately he has been hurt.

The guy who has shined being given the extra game reps is Cap Capi.  That kid has played very well in the preseason.  He could win the spot that Jones otherwise would have occupied.

This is just an opinion from the outside looking in but if you are wanting to keep both Jones and Capi, who are you replacing?  Certainly keeping Jones over Capi doesn’t seem like much sense at this point.

Jones produced for the Pittsburgh Steelers in his four seasons, thus landed a free agent signing in Arizona because of it.  It doesn’t do the Cardinals much help though if the guy can’t play.
