Scooby Wright

Wright was thought to have made the 53-man roster.  It likely came down to a numbers game.

Wright played well in the preseason and is known to be liked by the Cardinals coaching staff.  Don’t be surprised if he is one of the first names you hear being added to the practice squad.

The knock on Wright is that his size isn’t completely right for an NFL linebacker.  He hits hard though and plays hard.

The Cardinals should make Wright one of their top priorities.  He could likely be one of the first guys added to the 53-man roster if another linebacker goes down.

The former Arizona Wildcat finished off his career in Tucson with injury issues.  He started with the Cleveland Browns before the Cardinals picked him up last season.

Chances he is signed by the Cardinals and placed on practice squad: Very good

Chances if signed he plays for Cardinals in 2017: Good
