Quick Start

They say it’s not how you start but how you finish.  Nothing could be more true about this statement then how the Cardinals game in Indianapolis played out last Sunday.

However the Cardinals had to make some huge plays and get a little luck from the officials with Colts penalties in order to make their comeback last week.

For the first three quarters, the Cardinals offense just wasn’t working on all cylinders.  They should be able to do that on Monday night against the Cowboys.

A quick start doesn’t necessarily mean scoring a touchdown on the first drive either.  It could mean just getting a field goal or even just creating a great field possession game in their favor early on. By doing that though, that means moving the ball and getting first downs.

They also can accomplish this by converting third downs.  Against the Colts, the Cardinals were just 6-15 on third down conversions.  Set the tone early to put the Cowboys on their heels for four quarters.
