The Arizona Cardinals injury report from Friday offers little change from Thursday

The injury report from Friday’s Arizona Cardinals practice looks an awful like what Thursday’s report showed.  The Cardinals are preparing for their week three game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Not practicing again on Friday were receiver John Brown and left tackle D.J. Humphries.  It’s not looking good for either to play on Monday night.

Added to the did not practice list on Friday was quarterback Carson Palmer.  Palmer is not injured however.  He was just given a day of rest.

Limited at practice on Friday were tight end Jermaine Gresham, right guard Mike Iupati, receiver J.J Nelson, and linebackers Deone Bucannon and Karlos Dansby.  There is still hope all of them will be active on Monday night.

One fan in particular was not happy about Palmer getting an off day just because.  Taking to social media, he voiced their displeasure about it.

The Cardinals, having some fun with it decided to comment back to their fan.  You should love this.

Wow. You have to love the Cardinals for that response.  Whether you agree or disagree with the decision to rest Palmer, they have their reasons for doing so.

Resting or not resting him on a Friday prior to a Monday night game shouldn’t matter to fans. The coaching staff gets paid to make those decisions, not us.

That being said, whatever it ever takes to keep everyone healthy as possible for the game should be fine by us.  While it is always nice to see the Cardinals able to get their practice time in, remember it is game time where it counts.

The Cardinals will practice on Saturday again since the game this week is on Monday night.  We will have one more injury report prior to Monday’s game.

If Brown can’t go on Monday night, you’d hope the Cardinals continue to feed Nelson more. However we will have to keep an eye on Nelson’s hamstring injury.  It would be a huge blow to the offense if they were missing both against the Cowboys.
