The Arizona Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys announced their inactive players ahead of Monday night’s game at University of Phoenix Stadium
It’s still true, the Arizona Cardinals will be without receiver John Brown and left tackle D.J. Humphries on Monday night. Both were reportedly working out on the field before the game but will not play.
The Cardinals will also be without linebacker Deone Bucannon. It was thought most of the week he could be able to play Monday night. We’ll have to wait another week.
Also out is guard Mike Iupati. We also were hoping he would play after being questionable for the game. He has not played the last two weeks. The Cardinals offensive line could have difficulty running the ball without him.
Other inactives include quarterback Blaine Gabbert, defensive tackle Xavier Williams, and running back D.J. Foster. There is some good news with the announcement however when it concerns the offense.

Receiver J.J. Nelson will be active on Monday night. He is really going to be needed in the absence of Brown. He caught five passes for 120-yards and a touchdown last week.
Linebacker Karlos Dansby will also play. He was limited early in the week but is now well enough to play. He is second on the team with 19 tackles.
As for the Cowboys, their inactives include quarterback Cooper Rush, running back Darren McFadden, guard Jonathan Cooper, defensive end Charles Tapper.
Perhaps the bigger news is the Cowboys will be without a trio of their top defensive players. Cornerbacks Nolan Carroll and Chido Awuzie, and linebacker Anthony Hitchens will all miss the game against the Cardinals.
Carroll, Awuzie, and Hitchens were on the injury report all week. The good news for the Cowboys is cornerback Orlando Scandrick will play after being limited in practice early in the week.
