The Arizona Cardinals injury report on Wednesday was fairly lengthy as they prepare to face the San Francisco 49ers
It’s only week four but it is evident the Arizona Cardinals are a little beat up after Monday night’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Just two days removed from their week three game, the Cardinals were back at practice on Wednesday.
There were a total of nine players listed on the injury report after Wednesday’s practice. Of those nine players, seven of them were listed as limited. One did not practice and another was listed as practicing in full.
Not practicing was guard Alex Boone. On Tuesday it was determined Boone would be out three or four weeks with a pectoral injury.
The one who was listed with an injury but practicing in full was linebacker Deone Bucannon. It was originally thought Bucannon would be ready to go against the Cowboys. Ultimately he was pushed back yet another week.

This could be the week Bucannon is back on the field. He was close on Monday. It still may be a few weeks before he’s back to himself though.
As for he players listed as limited, the offense was hurting the most. Tackle John Wetzel was limited but that’s not a surprise. He was listed as day to day after an MRI on Tuesday.
Also limited were tackle D.J. Humphries and guard Mike Iupati. The Cardinals could really use their services. At the same time let’s hope the Cardinals don’t bring them back until they are 100 percent ready to go.
Tight end Jermaine Gresham and receivers J.J. Nelson and John Brown were also limited. Brown has missed the last two weeks. Nelson was active on Monday night but had spent the week on the injured report last week.
Linebacker Chandler Jones was also listed as limited on Wednesday. The injury report indicates a chest injury.
