The Arizona Cardinals host the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday at University of Phoenix Stadium
The Arizona Cardinals (1-2) host their second consecutive home game. They lost to the Dallas Cowboys last Monday night 28-17. This week they take on the San Francisco 49ers (0-3) for their first NFC West game of the season.
The Cardinals disappointing loss has them one game out of first place in the division. The 49ers have struggled so far this season. They scored a total of 12 points in their first two weeks but scored 39 last week in their loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
While the 49ers will be coming off 10 days of rest, the Cardinals will only be coming in with their six. We will see if it plays any factor in the game.

Key matchups/players
All eyes will be on the Cardinals offensive line. Can they do a better job against the 49ers defensive line on Sunday. Dallas tallied six sacks of Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer on Monday night.
The Cardinals are still dealing with injuries and just lost guard Mike Iupati to injured reserve. It will be a test to see if the Cardinals offensive line gets better on their technique.
Also it should be interesting to see 49ers quarterback Brian Hoyer get the start against one of his former teams. Hoyer so far has completed 62 percent of his passes, 62-99 for 624-yards. He has two touchdowns and three interceptions.
Hoyer was picked off to start the game against the Rams last week. Let’s hope the Cardinals defense comes back to life. They need to tackle better and avoid the big play in order to succeed.
