The Arizona Cardinals lost big on Sunday in Philadelphia but still have plenty of time to right the ship

This is not a prediction piece.  This is not to say this will happen but given the Arizona Cardinals schedule and how the standing currently shape up, don’t count them out in 2017 just yet.

Sure, they didn’t show up against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.  They got blown out 34-7. There are plenty of reasons for fans to be upset.

There have been plenty of social media comments saying the Cardinals should tank the rest of the season.  At 2-3 and just one game out of the NFC West lead, it’s not time to do that yet.

Now, the Cardinals can’t come back out like they did on Sunday against anyone else and expect to survive for a chance to contend at the end of the season.  Eventually the bad play and misfortunes will catch up to them.

There are some things the Cardinals can control and there are others they can’t.  Despite all the doom and gloom from Sunday’s game, there is still plenty to be hopeful for.

We know the Cardinals have yet to play a complete game.  Maybe what we have seen is the best it will get?  That’s quite possible but until they say the Cardinals no longer have a mathematical chance, then we must fight on.
