The Arizona Cardinals had their best game of the season in a dominating victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

There couldn’t have been a better start to the game for the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday in their win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  A great first half then they held on in the second half.

It certainly helped that the Bucs lost starting quarterback Jameis Winston in the first half but by the time he exited, this one was already over.  Ryan Fitzpatrick came in an played admirably.

While there are a lot of positives to take away from Sunday’s game, there are a couple of things the Cardinals still need to work on.  However it appears a few things they needed to work on from weeks past were corrected, at least for this week.

The entire offense was on their game early.  The defense made some nice plays.  The mistakes were minimal but some still occurred.

The Cardinals also escaped without any major injuries, although defensive tackle Xavier Williams did go down with a knee in the third quarter.  We’ll wait and see on his status moving forward.

Now the Cardinals head to London to face the upstart Los Angeles Rams.  Before we move on, a look at the Cardinals on Sunday, the good, the bad, and the ugly.
