Key matchups/players
The eyes this week should be on the Cardinals offensive line and running back Adrian Peterson should it not? After a 134-yard performance and some very good blocking, it will be interesting to see how they follow that up.
The Rams defensive line might have something to say about that. Their defensive line, led by Robert Quinn and Aaron Donald could be a lot for the Cardinals offensive line to handle.
The other interesting matchup will be Rams quarterback Jared Goff against the Cardinals secondary. The secondary has Patrick Peterson but he has been nursing a quad injury. They gave up 27 points after he left the Bucs game last Sunday.
The Cardinals saw Tramon Williams have a good day in his place. He should get more playing time. When he’s in there, we’ll keep an eye on if Goff tries that side of the field more often.
