Robert Griffin III

By no means is this a suggestion that the Cardinals would even be remotely interested in a guy like Griffin.  There are absolutely no rumors as such.

However, he is available.  He is a guy that can create plays with his feet.  He would be a short term solution to a long term issue.

Griffin has 42 career touchdown passes against 26 interceptions.  He last played for the Cleveland Browns in 2016.

One might ask, if you can’t make it in Cleveland, how in the world can he make it anywhere.  It’s all about the system, the coaches, and the personnel around you.

Griffin’s ability to scramble outside the pocket could be a fit for the Cardinals.  The Cardinals offensive line has been very inconsistent.

They played well a couple of weeks ago but last week broke down again against the Rams.  RG III could come in for several weeks to keep the ship afloat.

Don’t count on this happening, but it should be considered as a possibility.  What do the Cardinals have to lose here?
