The Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks have announced their inactive players for Thursday Night Football

No major surprises on the Arizona Cardinals front when it comes to inactive players for Thursday Night Football.  For the Seattle Seahawks, they will be without arguably their best player.

Active on Thursday night are receiver Brittan Golden and safety Budda Baker.  Golden had been questionable and Baker did not practice early in the week.  All is a go for both however come gametime. Baker had a huge special teams day last Sunday.

Inactive for the Cardinals include receiver Chad Williams, running back D.J. Foster, linebacker Bryson Albright, center Max Tuerk, guard Will Holden, tight end Ricky Seals-Jones, and defensive tackle Xavier Williams.

As for the Seahawks, they will be without safety Earl Thomas.  He was ruled out on Thursday morning after being listed as doubtful on Wednesday.

The Seahawks will also be without running back Eddie Lacy, linebacker Josh Forrest, guard Jordan Roos, defensive end Marcus Smith, guard Luke Joeckel, and defensive end Quinton Jefferson.

No Lacy means the running game could suffer but with the Seahawks you know they will always find a way.  As for Thomas, his absence is huge.

It is up to the Cardinals to take advantage of Thomas’ absence.  Quarterback Drew Stanton, starting his second game in the absence of Carson Palmer, will have his hands full.

They got off to a quick start moving the ball last Sunday with a 52-yard pass to receiver John Brown on the game’s first offensive play.  Brown has been healthy the past couple of weeks, which is what the Cardinals need.

Adrian Peterson ran the ball 37 times four days ago.  Don’t be surprised with another 25-30 on Thursday night.  Let’s hope just not over used to the point where he ends up on next week’s injury report.

Kickoff is set for 6:25 pm in Arizona.  The roof at University of Phoenix Stadium will be open.
