Baker Mayfield

A lot of people love Mayfield.  If you look at his statistics not only in 2017 but over his career at Oklahoma, they will show he can get the job done.

He has thrown 31 touchdowns against just five interceptions in 2017.  He has 3,559-yards thrown so far.

The last two seasons Mayfield has thrown 40 touchdowns and eight interceptions and 36 touchdowns and seven interceptions respectively.  He has thrown 119 touchdowns and 29 interceptions over his Sooners career.

His size is a little bit of a detractor.  He stands at 6-1.  Someone will take a chance on that though if he shows the ability to produce the big numbers he has year after year.

So if you had your choice, would you go Jackson or Mayfield?  There are a number of comparisons out there.  There does seem to be more of a balanced game between running and passing but there is likely no wrong choice between the two right now.
