Arizona Cardinals: 5 players to build future around
By Scott Allen
Haason Reddick
The first-round pick from Temple hasn’t turned into the immediate power player many had hope he would be at this point. However looking back he was still the best selection the Cardinals could have made for themselves at the time.
Early on in camp he was all but named as the starter at inside linebacker. To date he has only started three games but has still made contributions.
He has 27 tackles and two forced fumbles. He’s a hard hitter. He also has one and a half sacks to his credit.
There is a lot to still find out about Reddick. He has reached the point of his rookie season he is no longer considered a rookie.
Reddick will likely compete for a starting position next season. It won’t be out of need either. He will be starting because he has earned it. it has just taken him a little longer to get used to this level.
