Arizona Cardinals vs Tennessee Titans: Peters out again
By Scott Allen
The Arizona Cardinals and Tennessee Titans announced their inactive players ahead of Sunday’s game at University of Phoenix Stadium
Another game, another week Arizona Cardinals defensive tackle Corey Peters will be sitting on the sidelines. Peters is one of the seven Cardinals inactive players against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday afternoon in Glendale.
On Friday the Cardinals announced that running back Adrian Peterson and receiver John Brown were ruled out for the game. Peterson has been dealing with a neck injury for the last two weeks.
That will leave the running duties once again to Kerwynn Williams for the Cardinals. D.J. Foster and Elijhaa Penny will back him up.
The other inactives for the Cardinals include quarterback Matt Barkley, running back Bronson Hill, receiver Carlton Agudosi, and center Max Tuerk. With Barkley once again inactive, that means Drew Stanton will once again backup starter Blaine Gabbert.
As for the Titans, they will be without linebacker Derrick Morgan. He had been on the injury report all week. Receiver Harry Douglas is also listed as inactive.

The other Titans inactives include quarterback Brandon Weedon, cornerback Kalan Reed, defensive back Curtis Riley, offfensive lineman Corey Levin, and tight end Luke Stocker. Not on this list? Receiver Rishard Matthews. Matthews will play on Sunday.
The Cardinals had a long injury report this week. Active on Sunday will be cornerback Patrick Peterson and left tackle Jared Veldheer. Both had dealt with injuries all week and their status had been up in the air at one point.
Also guys like receiver J.J. Nelson, defensive tackle Josh Mauro and linebacker Deone Bucannon are active. All have been dealing with injuries and were either limited or did not practice at some point this past week.
Just how much those on the injury report this week who are active actually play will remain to be seen. You’d have to think though if they were active, they should see significant time on the field on Sunday.
