The Arizona Cardinals could use a win on Sunday to help avoid a possible double digit losing season

It’s been a long long season.  A lot has happened (and hasn’t happened) for the Arizona Cardinals in 2017.

A season full of expectations has turned into a season full of disappointment.  For so many reasons, the Cardinals will be sitting at home in January for the second consecutive season.

So if you had a Christmas wish from Santa when it comes to the Cardinals, what would you ask for?  There are so many things you likely could come up with.

How about this?  We start with a win over the New York Giants on Sunday.  The Cardinals are 4-3 at home this season with a chance to finish 5-3.  It’s not what you’d like to see but its something, right?

Drew Stanton is back at quarterback for the Cardinals on Sunday.  He’s not played since November 9th.

It would also be nice to see the Cardinals send receiver Larry Fitzgerald out with a victory in what could be his last home game.  He has a contract for 2018 but that doesn’t guarantee his return.

So please Santa, give Birdgang a win heading into the holiday.  We’ve spotted you in the stands of University of Phoenix Stadium in the past.  What else should we ask for?
