2. Palmer touchdown pass to Nelson against Cincinnati

In a game that was flexed to Sunday Night Football on NBC, the Cardinals were 7-2 coming into the game against the Cincinnati Bengals.  A lot was already on the line.

In front of a national television audience the Cardinals fell behind and trailed 14-7 at home at halftime.  The Cardinals were having difficulty connecting on offense.

Then the second half happened.  On the first drive of the second half, Palmer found Nelson for a 64-yard score down the right sideline.

The play sparked a 21-point third quarter.  This was another game that the Cardinals eventually found themselves tied in with little time left on the clock.  They prevailed though 34-31.

Without that early third quarter score however, this could have been a completely different turnout.  Palmer did finish with four touchdowns in the game.  They would go on to a 13-3 record before securing the second seed in the NFC playoffs.
