Arizona Cardinals 2018 schedule full of intrigue
By Scott Allen
While the Arizona Cardinals still search for their next head coach and starting quarterback, a first look at the opponents they will face in the 2018 season
The Arizona Cardinals play the NFC North, AFC West, their division rivals in the NFC West twice apiece and the third place teams in the NFC East and NFC South. The combined records of their 2018 opponents was 159-145.
They will see a 2017 playoff opponent in just five of their 16 games. There is only one playoff team they face next season that they played this season and that was the Los Angeles Rams.
The Cardinals went 0-2 against the Rams in 2017. They last faced the Atlanta Falcons in the regular season in 2016 and lost. The last played the Kansas City Chiefs in 2014 and won. The Minnesota Vikings beat them in 2016 as well in their last meeting.
With a new coach and a new quarterback still to be decided plus draft and free agency there won’t be any predictions how these games will finish at this point. Waiting until April when we should know more about the team makes more sense.
Here is a look at the Cardinals opponents team by team for 2018. We know where they will play but the when will be revealed sometime in mid-April most likely.
