Arizona Cardinals 2018 schedule full of intrigue

Kansas City Chiefs

Wouldn’t it be something if the Cardinals face the Chiefs, in Kansas City, with Alex Smith as their quarterback now? It could happen.

Of course it would be all we talk about that week leading up to the game.  The Chiefs just came off a brutal second half performance in their playoff loss to the Tennessee Titans.

The Chiefs could have Patrick Mahomes as their quarterback next season.  He was a possible target for the Cardinals in the 2017 NFL Draft.

The Cardinals have made three previous trips to Arrowhead Stadium since moving to the desert in 1988.  They haven’t been close contests.

The Cardinals did however win the last meeting between the two teams 17-14 in 2014.  That was at University of Phoenix Stadium.  Drew Stanton was the starter for the Cardinals that afternoon.

It is safe to say Stanton won’t be the starter but if it does turn out to be Alex Smith, he may just give the Cardinals a chance to come away with a win.  Stay tuned.
