The Cardinals split with the Seahawks in 2017, went 1-0-1 against them in 2016, and split in 2015. The Cardinals have won three years in a row up in Seattle but were 0-4-1 in Arizona in the Bruce Arians era.

Now that Arians is gone and we wait for the next coach of the Cardinals to arrive, who knows what will happen? Seahawks coach Pete Carroll has indicated he will return.

The same can’t be said for some of his assistants. This week we know of at least three assistants who will not be with the Seahawks in 2018.

The Seahawks will still have Russell Wilson. The Cardinals will still have Patrick Peterson. We know that much.

The Cardinals also have a running game with David Johnson. The Seahawks don’t know what will become of their running game, which was not very good in 2017. One thing is for sure, the games between these two are rarely dull.
