The Arizona Cardinals may have struggled to an 8-8 record, however they still had some exciting moments in 2017

Honestly it was tough to pick out five plays that could be considered “top” plays for the 2017 Arizona Cardinals.  However the task was completed.

With a .500 record on the season, the NFL’s only 8-8 team, they showed some offensive success at times.  Injuries and poor offensive line play dominated the headlines though.

The defense held up their end of the bargain but as far as excitement, only one defensive play made this list and that happened before all of the injuries started to pile up.  Still, the defense helped this team achieve .500 in the end.

These plays were all huge plays at the time they happened.  A couple of them were game winners.

Regardless of how the season finished, these plays represent the good things that happened to the Cardinals in 2017.  With all of the negativity and issues surrounding them, it was nice to be able to pick out plays we will be able to remember from this past season.

With quarterback Carson Palmer retiring and receiver Larry Fitzgerald thinking about the same, these memories become even more important to Cardinals and NFL fans.  They aren’t the greatest plays ever but they were certainly good enough to highlight.
