The Arizona Cardinals have not stood still in free agency, trying to re-tool a roster that can get the them back on the winning track

After several other teams spent time making trades and bettering themselves for 2018 and beyond, some Arizona Cardinals fans started to panic.  Teams within the NFC West were wheeling and dealing.

The Los Angeles Rams made trades for new cornerbacks.  The San Francisco 49ers made a splash with Richard Sherman at cornerback.  The Seattle Seahawks dealt defensive end Michael Bennett to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Browns, winless in 2018 had made a few trades.  The Cardinals were just biding their time it would seem now.

They’ve been active since the official day one of free agency and the new league year a week ago.  They’ve made several free agency signings, seen some other players move to new cities and had to make difficult cuts.

The work isn’t even close to over in free agency yet.  Then there is also the draft in a month in Dallas.

Although the Cardinals haven’t made any significant moves this week as of yet, they have had player visits and still have holes to fill.  How they fill those holes remains to be seen.
