Arizona Cardinals: 5 intriguing roster additions

The Arizona Cardinals added 24 undrafted rookies this past week ahead of next week’s minicamp

Now that the NFL Draft has concluded, the Arizona Cardinals got busy adding more players to their roster this week.  They cut four players already on the roster but also added 24 new faces.

These new faces are all undrafted free agents.  While many of them will not make the final roster and some won’t even be around by the time training camp starts in July, this is the time to get out there for these young men and show what they can offer.

Rookie minicamp starts next week at Cardinals headquarters in Tempe.  That comes ahead of OTA’s and eventually a full roster mini camp before breaking until training camp.

These guys will not only be fighting for spots on the Cardinals roster but could be fighting to make other rosters should it not work out in Arizona.  In other words, don’t get too attached to most of these players.

However that doesn’t mean any of them can’t make the training camp roster or even the final 53-man roster.  There is a lot to be determined between now and September.
