There is still a lot of roster movement to be experienced with the Arizona Cardinals but a look at what could be a 53-man roster as of today
Of the 90 guys on the current Arizona Cardinals offseason roster of 90 players, there is a good chance some of them won’t even be around come start of training camp. The Cardinals also still have holes to fill.
However, as always, we can only make guesses and form opinions on what we know now. We know there are 90 guys trying to make the final 53-man roster for the Cardinals come September.
So, why not take an early quick look at how that 53-man roster would play out with who the Cardinals currently employ? Note this will change a number of times between now and September 9th.
Offense:
QB (3): Sam Bradford, Mike Glennon, Josh Rosen

WR (6): Larry Fitzgerald, J.J. Nelson, Christian Kirk, Brice Butler, Chad Williams, Cobi Hamilton
OL (9): A.Q. Shipley, D.J. Humphries, Evan Boehm, Mason Cole, Mike Iupati, Andre Smith, Korey Cunningham, Justin Pugh, Vinston Painter
Defense:
DL (8): Chandler Jones, Markus Golden, Rodney Gunter, Robert Nkemdiche, Corey Peters, Olsen Pierre, Benson Mayowa, Pasoni Tasini
LB (7): Deone Bucannon, Josh Bynes, Haason Reddick, Jeremy Cash, Scooby Wright III, Edmond Robinson, Vontarrius Dora
CB (5): Patrick Peterson, Bene Benwikere, Brandon Williams, Marcus Williams, Chris Campbell
S (4): Antoine Bethea, Budda Baker, Rudy Ford, Zeke Turner
Special Teams:

P (1): Andy Lee

Even with the versatility with some of the guys on the offensive line, the Cardinals would be smart to carry nine guys. Some will end up getting injured. It’s inevitable.
With an emphasis on 4-3 now, there will be more of a need for guys up front. That said, right now as many as five corners on the roster could make it.

Don’t be surprised if the cornerback and safety positions though look different soon though, maybe as soon as the start of training camp. In the NFL, teams are constantly trying to improve, even in the offseason.
